Melanie and John’s Maternity Shoot
If there is one thing that I absolutely love doing… is the maternity shoot right before the newborn baby is to come out. John and Melanie are good friends of mine that had asked about the possibility of doing it, and luckily we did it when we did.. because the little girl that was camping out came out in record time right after the photo shoot!
The special thing about this pregnancy is that they did not find out the sex of the baby until the baby arrived. It led to some fun photo options. 🙂
Summer 2011 Update!
There have been a lot of great things happening for Kc Jacoby Photography LLC. The spring and summer have been a very busy time for photography, and as busy as I like being, it has left very little time to sit down and take time to update this blog!

The week leading up to their wedding, Michigan was having some serious weather issues which had some of our picture plans in serious jepordy. However, like clockwork… the forecast for the weekend straightened up and things were perfect for a late April wedding here in Michigan.
Once again, a huge thanks to Ross Sandelious for assisting me on this wedding!
6 Months Old… and the whole world in front of her
I had the wonderful opportunity to take pictures of Jenna yet again, but this time at the ripe ole age of 6 months.  Her darling smile captured my heart behind the lens, and has been getting rave reviews of her smile as shown in her pictures. Â
Ryan and Randi’s Engagement Session
I had the pleasure of taking engagement pictures for Ryan and Randi this past October in downtown Northville, MI.  They are actually from Ohio, and represent my first ‘out of state’ customers! They made the trek all the way up here to have their pictures taken.  I’m glad they did, because the photos that came from this session were just perfectly accented by the fall colors that were left on the trees.  I’m anxiously awaiting shooting their wedding next year!
Engagement of Leo and Michelle
I had the wonderful opportunity to take pictures of Leo and Michelle this fall… and I look forward to next year when I do their wedding! The colors were just perfect, and it made for a really beautiful background for all of their pictures.

Taking on the world at age 2…
The Gillman’s asked to photograph their little one turning 2 years old. As always, with this smiling cutie I was more happy to oblige.
Newborn Jenna
A few weeks ago my friends had a little bundle of joy join their family. Jenna joined the world in July, and I was shortly behind taking pictures of the little one shortly after she arrived home.  Needless to say, I had some fun with Jenna and family!
And here is a little fun I’ve been having with a few of my past clients… I’ve been putting together video montages to help them remember their pictures by.

The Wedding of Brad and Jen
Brad and Jen were married in East Lansing, Michigan.  Both graduating from Michigan State University where they met each other.  I was lucky to attend this wedding, but still provide them some fun shots from their wedding.
Gillman Family Shoot
I photographed this adorable family in Shelby Township, at a gorgeous park for the city. They are about as adorable as any family could hope to be! Including with the smiling little ones! It took a while for them to warm up to me, but by the end of the session they loved the fact that I was crawling through the tunnels chasing after them just to get the right picture.

I was lucky enough to be allowed to take some precious pictures of a dear friend of mine during her pregnancy… for my first time ever with a maternity shoot, I asked for some assistance from fellow photographer Ross Sandelius with some studio lighting.  Needless to say the results were perfect.
