Ken Jacoby is a graduate of Ferris State University with a degree in Product Design Engineering. He has been interested in photography as a hobby for the last 10 years and has been a member of Exposure Detroit since 2006. Ken has won a number of honors for his photography, the most recent being 3rd place in the Detroit News ‘Celebrate Michigan’ photography contest.

Ken enjoys photographing anything and everything with specific interests in architecture, landmarks, buildings, and Detroit sports teams. He also enjoys taking engagement photos and portraits.

When reflecting upon photography, Ken states, "My love for photography has always been being able to share with people what they might have not seen. When I take a picture, all I want to do is to be able to capture what I was feeling at that moment, and to be able to relive that feeling every time I see that photograph again. Maybe it was the cold chill from the snow, or the heat from the sun or a soft breeze off the lake… it is all a part of what goes into my photography. Photography is also an escape for me. There are no deadlines, no project due dates, no one pressuring you for something. It is a way to freeze a moment in time and to think perfectly clear."
